Clear or reset Google Play Store app cache and data

If you've stumbled upon a "Flow for Sku" issue, or something is not letting you play, we advise clearing or resetting the Google Play Store app cache and data.


Please note, that depending on your device, your "Apps" section may be located otherwhere, but overall, the instruction can be applied by all Android devices.


For Android shells:

From a Home screen, navigate Settings → Apps (or Apps → Manage Apps).

  1. Tap Google Play Store.
  2. Tap Storage.
  3. Tap Clear Cache then tap Clear Data

Tap OK.


For Xiaomi users with MIUI Shell:

From a Home screen, navigate Settings → Apps → Manage Apps.

  1. Tap Google Play Store
  2. Tap Clear Data.
  3. Tap Clear Cache then tap OK.
  4. If the issue still exists, tap Clear Data → Clear All Data → OK.
