How to Check Your Speaker Default Settings

  1. Right-click the speaker icon on the bottom-right of the Windows taskbar.

  2. Select [Sound Settings] or [Playback Devices].

  3. From the list of devices, locate the speakers or headphones you are currently using.

  4. Right-click any unused devices and select [Disable].

  5. Right-click the device you want to use and select [Enable].

  6. Highlight the device and click [Properties].

  7. In the [Advanced] tab, change the Default Format to 16bit, 48000Hz (DVD Quality).

  8. Click the green Test button to verify sound playback.

  9. Click [Apply] and then [OK] to save the changes.

 

Before Launching the Game

  • After completing the steps above, open the Playback tab and then launch Hi-Fi RUSH.

  • If audio is detected, you will see volume bars moving next to your selected playback device.
